It’s been a cooler week in Toronto meaning I’ve been thinking a lot about fall fashion. Ankle boots, cozy knits and oversized scarves are just a few of my staples for the season. Here’s a list of just a few items I have my eye on for fall 2015: Continue reading
Crying because summer is almost over, but jumping for joy because I have found so many new favourite products. Here are the items I find myself reaching to day after day while getting pretty in the a.m.
I guess need I to stop saying that I never complete a DIY because since I started this blog, I have successfully done 3 projects from start to (almost) finish. Three claps for Erinn! I guess that’s what happens when you decide to move on a very tight budget… Continue reading
Everyone knows that going to a music fest requires a super on-point outfit. That means fully dressed head-to-toe in festival-appropriate gear (read: crop tops, cut-offs and yes, floral crowns).
This summer I’m going to WayHome Music Festival in Toronto (okay, a few hours north of it) and even though it’s a solid 3 months away, I’m already planning my #OOTDs. And naturally, I’m looking to the celebs at Coachella for inspiration.
With every pin that I pin to my “have made/will make” board on Pinterest, I have great intentions. I am not one of those pinners that pins everything willie-nillie; I contemplate what I’m about to pin, especially onto this board, ensuring that I will actually, someday, make this glitter-painted mason jar craft. But please do not ask me how many pins from this board change from “will make” to “have made”…it’s embarrassing.
As I prepare to move into a new apartment (finally living in Toronto instead of living in “Toronto”), my intentions of DIYing something are just as good, if not better, than they ever were before. I have so many plans to run to the nearest craft store and pick up all of the supplies and a gallon of ModPodge to begin. But I move out in a couple of weeks and alas, have not actually finished* any projects.
Call me #basic, but I’m all over the floral/pastel/everything pretty trend for Spring and Summer 2015 (and every year, for that matter). My closet doesn’t consist of a lot of pretty, girly frills (read: I wear black-on-black all day everyday), but there are a few pieces that I just cannot resist. Here are some of my favourite fun floral finds of the season.

The temperature is kind of rising, the snow is somewhat melting, and we are a day away from April. But where the f*%! is Spring?! All I want is to walk outside in sneakers and feel the warm sun on my skin. Is that too much for a girl to ask?
