Drunching in Toronto: The Dirtybird

The Dirtybird is a little hole-in-the-wall resto in the heart of Kensington Market. It’s easy to miss, but should not be overlooked. It is chicken and waffles, after all. I’m going to be upfront and say that this wasn’t actually “drunching” (it would have been if they served alcohol) but it was brunching nonetheless and the food was so good that there was no alcohol needed.

Drunching in Toronto: Kalendar


The only thing that can get me out of my duvet-cocoon on weekends is a really good TV/movie marathon (like PLL or Christmas movies or something along those lines) and/or brunch. If I’m getting out of my warm and cozy bed and covering up evidence of partying from the night before, I make damn well sure that it’s worth it. I can confirm that brunch at Kalendar was worth it.
