Last month,  I was asked by my fabulous cousin to be a part of her wedding. I was thrilled! I have never been in a wedding before, but I absolutely love them (who doesn’t?!) and I’m excited (and scared!) to see, and help out with, all of the hard work that goes into them BTS.

Follow me and join along in the journey of #BeingABridesmaid as I blog my about experience from start to finish. Thank you, Alison & Graham, for letting me be a part of your special day in August 2016!

First step on my Bridesmaid duty list was to join A for an appointment at the florists. I recommended we go to Snowberry Botanicals, a local (and recently opened) flower shop in Erin, Ontario. From what I had seen, their arrangements were unique, current and always beautiful. It seemed like the perfect fit for what is going to be the perfect day!

We met with Krystal, co-owner of the shop who had a checklist with everything (I mean everything!) to do with flowers for the wedding. We’re talking bouquets, table arrangements, florals for special guests, etc. Having been recently married herself, she not only understood the amount of work that goes into planning a wedding, but she had great suggestions, too.

To go with their coral and mint colour scheme, A&G are looking for arrangements with pretty pink/peach/colour coloured flowers with lots of greenery (and succulents!) to boot! I cannot wait to see how the arrangements turn out!

Next step: Bridesmaid dress shopping! Stay tuned.
